Little Man

Hey there little man. I know alot of time has passed.

I think about you all the time and how youve managed to last.

I remember when the light in your eyes disappeared and the hope in your soul faded,

Moving your way through life dealing trauma had left you jaded.

Thank you for being oh so strong and dealing with these issues.

Today is a much better place where theres no need to look for tissues.

To finally wake up and take control to carve out life your own way.

How you rejected conformity and learnt how to truly embrace each new day.

And while there are still bumps in the road ahead, with lessons there for learning

That light in your eyes never went out and the fire in your heart’s still burning.

So no matter what tomorrow brings or whom ever leaves your life.

Always remember to learn from the past and make your future bright.
