While working for Optus in 2014 as a Learning Design Specialist, and under the leadership of Training Project Manager Saskia Spaan, Instructional Designs from myself and colleague Syl Ploner was entered into and won the AITD 'Best Implementation of a Blended Learning Solution' for My Plan Plus.
This massive blended solution included video scripting, leaders guides, immersive PowerPoint presentations and huddle packs. This program was also a finalist in the 2014 Organisational Learning Effectiveness Award'
Thank you to HR Director Megan Johnson and TPM Saskia Spaan for your leadership on this massive project, and to Syl Ploner with whom I am grateful to share this long yet ultimately rewarding journey. The knowledge and insights into Syls tight Instructional Design skills taught me how to think outside the box while still delivering a unique and tailored experience.
