Today is the last day of 2024.
I wish each of you a very Happy New Year - this has been a big year for everyone and I hope what you plan to create in 2025 will be everything you need it to be.
To everyone who has been on my cancer journey with me; family, friends and former strangers, I am so very grateful that I have people like you who are concerned for my welfare – thank you.
Life is a rollercoaster. One day, you’re on top of the world and the next, you’re feeling your way through a darkened maze wondering when you’ll be back up top.
My results confirmed the active encapsulated growth is thyroid cancer. I spent time with Dr. Bingham who, alongside her team, will assess my case to propose the best solution moving forward. This could include further surgery, radioactive iodine therapy, or both.
I was hoping the results meant this cancer journey would be over, but it’s not.
I decided to make a post about this as I don’t want to continually relive the space of revelation, when I need all my energy and patience for this next stage. I am releasing and leaving all negative energy in 2024, reinvigorated and excited for a fresh new year ahead.
For me, 2025 is positively focused on a singular goal - to kick this shit to the curb. With that, lifestyle changes long overdue.
For now, let us all celebrate the turning of a new year with new memories to be made, more opportunities to learn and more time to do all this with the people we love and care for.
Each day is a blessing - be grateful for them. Spend your time wisely. Love honestly. Speak the truth. Trust the process. Smile at the little things. Stand up for the important things. It’s ok to disagree. We are all on this journey together so try to make your next day better than the previous.
I hope you are spending tonight with the people you love, and join me in welcoming in a brand spanking New Year 2025.
Jase x
